Turbo Dial-Up
- Identify Dial-Up Phone Number -

 

Follow these steps to identify the phone number that your modem uses to connect to the Internet:

  1. From your Desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.
  2. Double-click the Control Panel icon.
  3. Double-click the Internet Options icon. This will open the Internet Properties dialog box (shown below).
  4. Click on the Connections tab located along the top of the Internet Properties dialog box. In the Dial-up and Virtual Private Network Settings section, ensure that the connection to TFBnet is selected (signified by a blue background). If it is not selected, click once on the connection to select it. Click the Settings button. An example screen is shown below (The Settings button is circled for clarification). This will open the TFBnet Settings Dialog box.

  1. Click on the Properties button on the TFBnet Settings box. An example screen is shown below (The Properties button is circled for clarification). This will open the TFBnet dialog box.

The phone number that you use to dial-up TFBnet will be shown in the middle of the TFBnet dialog box. An example screen is shown below (The phone number is circled for clarification):
