Q. Help me
, I'm Lost!
A. Well, the Internet can seem like a very huge and confusing place at first. Practically anything that one could think of to look
for can be found SOMEWHERE out on the web. It takes a short while to acquire the skill the will enable you to find exactly what
you are looking for, so please be patient. Check out our homepage for an idea of several starting points. If you know what you
are looking for, then try looking for it using a search engine to find it for you.Back to Top

Q. How do I Download a File?

A. Once you have found a file that you want to download, it should be fairly simple to download the file to your system. Depending on which web browser you are using, you usually should be able to start the process of a download merely by clicking on the download link of the file itself (For example, a file from CNET Download.com).  Make sure that your browser is going to name the file correctly, and that it is going to place it into the correct directory on your file system. Then all you have to do is wait for the file to transfer.Back to Top

Q. Why won't my Email Work?

A. Usually the email won't work when the settings on your email client are entered incorrectly. Check the Server information on your email program to make sure that the incoming mail (POP) Server is pop3.tfb.com and that the outgoing (SMTP) Server is mail.tfb.com. The name of your POP3 account is just your username. Also, be sure that your user name and password are both correct an that they are entered entirely in lower case. For more information on how to properly configure either your Netscape or Microsoft Mail readers, check out our Technical Support Web Helper page for detailed screenshots and the correct settings to make your email programs work properly.Back to Top
