Our nation-wide dial-up network actually consists of two separate (but equal!) network access systems. The first one, California, covers the majority of the state of California. The second network, National, covers the other 49 states and the remaining areas of California. Although our Turbo Dial-Up service is exactly the same across both networks, the Turbo Dial-Up software in each network is slightly different. To determine which network you are using, check the phone number that your modem dials. If it ends in -1190 or -1191, you are on the California network.
